Post in this thread if you are looking for opponents to have a nice chess game. The thread is not restricted to games here at SquirrelChess!

When you are looking for opponents, please give us some details about yourself and what kind of games you are looking for. For instance, do you want to play correspondence chess or rather prefer playing at one of the "live" chess servers such as ICC or FICS? Do you prefer fast or slow time controls? Are yo an experienced player or beginner? And what times (include timezone info!) are good for you?

Ok, to get things started, I go first

I am writing most of the stuff on this servers, so you are probably aware that I am an improving beginner banging my head on the wall between me and intermediate level (my current ICC std rating is around 1350).

I am looking for people to play correspondence games here at SquirrelChess (although I am playing at CHessWorld, too) as well as casual slowish games at ICC or FICS. My handle is Sciurus on all of these servers.

On the live servers, I have time to play 1-2 slow games a week, preferred time is evening east coast US (EST). However, my schedule is varying wildly from week to week (which is why I am not able to play in the team leagues).
